Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, has congratulated celebrity chef Hilda Baci on her latest Guinness World Record feat after preparing the world’s largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the First Lady commended Baci for her “passion, resilience, and creativity” in showcasing one of Nigeria’s most beloved dishes on the global stage.
“Your art of culinary techniques has not only brought pride to our dear nation but has also gained national and global recognition,” Tinubu said.
“Through this feat, you have shown what young Nigerian women can accomplish with hard work, determination, and the power of innovation.”
She further noted that Baci’s achievement will serve as an inspiration for Nigerian youth, particularly women. “I pray for greater accomplishments for you and other Nigerian youth who dare to dream,” she added.
Hilda Baci, who rose to prominence in 2023 after breaking the record for the longest cooking marathon, has once again drawn international attention with her culinary skills.
Her latest accomplishment — the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice — cements her status as one of the country’s most celebrated chefs and cultural ambassadors.
The First Lady concluded her message with warm congratulations: “Congratulations, Hilda Baci.”
