Nigeria international, Paul Onuachu, has been named the Turkish Super Lig Goal of the Month winner for August.
The Trabzonspor striker earned the honour for his brilliant header in the 1-1 draw against Samsunspor on matchday four.
Onuachu received the award from Trabzonspor vice president Zeyyat Kafkas before their league encounter with Kayserispor on Friday night, where he also contributed a goal and an assist.
The 31-year-old forward is now eyeing a second consecutive monthly award, following his spectacular overhead kick in the thrilling 4-3 win over Fatih Karagumruk, a strike widely tipped to claim September’s top goal.
Onuachu has been in red-hot form this season, sitting atop the Turkish Super Lig scoring chart with six goals and one assist in eight appearances.
