Super Falcons head coach, Justine Madugu, has released his 21-player list for Nigeria’s 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations final qualifying round against Benin Republic.
The squad, announced ahead of the crucial doubleheader, features a blend of established stars and emerging talents across all departments, three goalkeepers, seven defenders, five midfielders, and six forwards.
Among the notable names on the roster are team captain Rasheedat Ajibade, Asisat Oshoala, Esther Okoronkwo, Michelle Alozie, and veteran defender Osinachi Ohale.
Also making the cut are goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, versatile defender Ashleigh Plumptre, and Oluwatosin Demehin.
The first leg is scheduled for Saturday, October 25, at Stade Kégué in Lomé, while the return fixture will take place three days later, on Tuesday, October 28, at the MKO Abiola Sports Complex in Abeokuta.
Victory over Benin Republic will secure Nigeria a place at the 2026 WAFCON in Morocco, a tournament that will also serve as Africa’s qualifying event for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil.
