Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Funke Akindele, has marked her birthday with a message of gratitude, reflecting on her journey, achievements and the challenges she has overcome.
Akindele shared the birthday message on her Facebook page, thanking God for His faithfulness and guidance throughout the different seasons of her life.
The actress acknowledged that her journey had included successes, mistakes and difficult moments, but said she had continued to find strength and grace to move forward.
She wrote, “My heart is full of gratitude to God for all He has done, all He is doing, and all that is still to come.”
Reflecting on the lessons from her experiences, Akindele said she was grateful for the grace to learn from her shortcomings and continue striving for personal growth.
She added, “Even in moments when I have fallen short, He has given me the grace to rise, learn, keep going and become better.”
The actress prayed for good health, longevity, peace and the ability to continue fulfilling her purpose.
“My prayer is simple: that God blesses me with good health, long life, peace and the grace to keep walking in purpose,” she stated.
