Jakob Breum showcased his scoring prowess as Go Ahead Eagles dismantled NAC Breda 6-0, completing a stunning hat-trick.
The Danish midfielder opened the scoring just before halftime, ghosting into the box to slot home Victor Edvardsen’s precise pass in the 45th minute.
After the break, Breum continued his masterclass. In the 73rd minute, he unleashed a powerful shot from the center of the box, and only three minutes later, he calmly tucked in his third goal, once again assisted by Edvardsen.
Over 77 minutes, Breum made all three of his shots count, registered five touches inside the penalty area, and completed nine key passes in the final third, proving a constant threat for NAC Breda’s defense.
His intelligent movement and timing repeatedly left their backline scrambling.
Next up, Go Ahead Eagles face Utrecht in the Eredivisie, while NAC Breda travel to PEC Zwolle hoping to bounce back.
