Nigerian celebrity fashion designer Veekee James and her husband, Femi Atere, have welcomed their first child, a baby girl.
The excited mother announced the birth on Instagram, sharing an emotional video of the newborn alongside a brief message that read, “She’s Here.”
Veekee also revealed the baby’s name as Eliana Adeife Atere, explaining the meaning behind it.
According to the fashion entrepreneur, “Eliana” is derived from “EL,” meaning God, and “ANA,” meaning He has answered, together translating to “My God has answered.”
In celebrating the arrival of her daughter, Veekee referenced a verse from the Bible, quoting 1 Samuel 1:27.
“For this child I prayed; and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of him,” she wrote.
The announcement has sparked congratulatory messages from fans, colleagues, and celebrities across social media, with many celebrating the couple on the arrival of their first child.
Veekee and Atere had earlier announced they were expecting a baby in February 2026, nearly two years after their widely celebrated wedding in 2024.
