Popular Nigerian comedian and content creator Carter Efe has sparked widespread online reactions following a star-studded livestream that featured Afrobeats heavyweight Davido and Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen.
The livestream, which had been heavily anticipated on social media, lived up to expectations after Davido joined Carter Efe live, fulfilling an earlier promise.
In a moment that thrilled viewers, Davido went further by placing a phone call to Napoli and Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, who later appeared on the livestream, sending fans into a frenzy.
Overwhelmed by the show of support, Carter Efe used the opportunity to address fellow Afrobeats star Wizkid in a moment that has since gone viral.
“Wizkid, this is Davido showing me love,” Carter Efe said during the livestream.
“After everything I’ve done for you, you still poured spit on me. Wizkid, if you want to come on my livestream now, I’ll charge you ₦1 billion. You’ll regret not supporting me.”
Carter Efe, who gained national attention with his viral song Who You Help?, has become known for hosting energetic livestreams that regularly draw huge audiences and high-profile guests.
Following the Davido and Osimhen appearance, many fans have praised him as one of Africa’s most influential livestream creators.
