Galatasaray head coach, Okan Buruk, has stepped up efforts to sign Raphael Onyedika from Club Brugge ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Turkish champions had earlier made a move for the Nigerian midfielder during the January transfer window, but their bid was rejected by the Belgian side.
According to Turkish publication Fotomac, Buruk remains keen on bringing the midfielder to Istanbul and has continued to monitor his situation closely.
Onyedika is entering the final year of his contract with Club Brugge and is said to be unwilling to sign a new deal with the club, fueling speculation over a possible exit this summer.
A move to Galatasaray could also reunite the 25-year-old with fellow Nigerian star Victor Osimhen.
The defensive midfielder has been one of Brugge’s standout performers this season, contributing three goals and three assists in 40 appearances across all competitions.
