Galatasaray to renew interest in Onyedika by January – Report

Galatasaray remain determined in their pursuit of Club Brugge midfielder Raphael Onyedika.

Belgian outlet Voetbalnieuws.be reports that the Turkish Super Lig champions are still eager to secure the Nigeria international’s services in the upcoming January transfer window.

Onyedika is understood to be a major target for Okan Buruk’s team, who made a strong effort to land him during the summer.

The midfielder is also receiving encouragement from his Super Eagles teammate, Victor Osimhen, who has been attempting to convince him to make the switch to Istanbul.

Since joining Club Brugge, the 24-year-old has become an integral figure in the squad.

However, Brugge are not prepared to lose him easily. The club’s technical director, Dévy Rigaux, recently shared optimism that Onyedika will commit his future to the Belgian side, insisting that “a transfer is not currently part of the club’s plans” and that they hope he “would sign a new contract and remain for years.”
