Bayern Munich boss, Vincent Kompany, has made it clear that new arrival Nicolas Jackson will be allowed time to find his feet at the club rather than being weighed down by expectations.
After overseeing a recent training session, Kompany lauded the Senegalese striker for his seamless integration into the squad.
“It was a good training, but more importantly, his personality fits well with the team. He’s a good person and my wish is that he will score a lot of goals,” the coach remarked.
Kompany emphasized that Jackson will be afforded patience as he adapts to life in Munich.
“He will not be put under pressure from my side,” he assured.
Jackson, who arrived on loan from Chelsea following a tense transfer saga, is seen as a key reinforcement in Bayern’s attacking options as they push for success in both domestic and European competitions.
The 23-year-old will not have long to wait before crossing paths with his parent club, as Bayern prepare to host Chelsea in a blockbuster Champions League league-phase opener at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night.
