Popular TikTok content creator and livestreamer, Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has been hospitalised following a car crash involving his newly acquired Mercedes-Benz on Sunday in Lagos.
The incident occurred along the Lekki–Epe Expressway while the influencer was livestreaming on Instagram.
Videos from the session, which have since circulated widely on social media, showed Peller in visible emotional distress as he drove alone.
During the livestream, the content creator appeared agitated and tearful, making several alarming statements about his personal life and fears of public ridicule.
At one point, he expressed anxiety over the possibility of a breakup and the reactions it might attract online.
“I’m scared of being mocked if this relationship ends,” he said repeatedly during the broadcast.
In another moment of distress, he made remarks suggesting he might harm himself, sparking concern among viewers.
Shortly after, the livestream footage showed the vehicle swerving off the road and crashing into a barrier, resulting in extensive damage to the car.
Passers-by reportedly rushed to his aid before he was taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
While it has been confirmed that Peller is receiving treatment, details about the extent of his injuries have not been officially disclosed as of the time of filing this report.
Peller’s relationship with fellow content creator Jarvis has previously drawn public attention, with their disagreements and reconciliations frequently playing out on social media. Recent leaked messages suggesting another breakup have led to speculation that emotional stress may have contributed to the incident.
