Peller, Jarvis hold private white wedding in Lagos

TikTok personalities, Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, and Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, better known as Jarvis, have exchanged vows at their white wedding on Saturday, August 8, 2026.

The couple’s latest wedding ceremony comes a week after their elaborate traditional marriage, which attracted several celebrities, musicians and influencers and generated significant attention online.

Unlike the traditional ceremony, the white wedding was deliberately kept low-key, with attendance restricted to a small group of family members, friends and selected industry associates.

Peller had previously announced that only about 80 to 100 guests would be admitted, explaining that he wanted to avoid the problems encountered during the traditional wedding.

According to him, some people who attended the earlier ceremony had purchased aso-ebi primarily to gain access to the venue and create content rather than genuinely celebrate with the couple.

He also stated that bloggers would not be permitted at the white wedding as he sought a more private celebration.

Fans unable to attend physically were given the opportunity to watch the ceremony online, with the wedding streamed live on Twitch and YouTube.

The couple’s relationship reached a major milestone in June when Peller proposed to Jarvis during a trip to Ghana.

They subsequently travelled to Benin City, Edo State, where Peller paid Jarvis’ bride price and completed the traditional marriage rites with her family.
On July 29, the pair further formalised their relationship through a court wedding in Lagos.

Both wore outfits styled by Emmanuel Goodnews Icon, with Jarvis dressed in a Prudential off-white textured tweed mini dress featuring a square neckline and blue floral embroidery.

Peller complemented her in an off-white single-breasted suit.

Their traditional wedding, held in Lekki on August 1, became a major social media attraction, with prominent entertainers and influencers in attendance.

The celebration also generated headlines after the couple received a N400m mansion in Abuja, alongside cash and a plot of land from well-wishers.

Several moments from the traditional ceremony subsequently went viral, including socialite Pretty Mike’s theatrical arrival accompanied by about 20 people dressed as medical personnel.

Another widely circulated video showed a tout being knocked down by a vehicle close to the wedding venue.

The marriage also attracted debate online, particularly over the couple’s age, with some Nigerians questioning whether they were ready for marriage.

Peller and Jarvis, however, dismissed the concerns.

For their pre-wedding shoot, Jarvis wore a design by MSOLagos, while Peller’s outfit was created by Maison Nwōsù.

The intimate white wedding marks the latest chapter in the couple’s #JP2026 celebrations, following their decision to scale down the final ceremony after Peller expressed dissatisfaction with the crowd and activities surrounding their traditional wedding.
