Super Eagles forward, Ademola Lookman, has set his sights on a potential switch to Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray, according to Fotomac.
Galatasaray head coach, Okan Buruk, is said to be a strong admirer of the Atalanta winger and has reportedly made him a top transfer target.
Lookman’s fellow Nigerian, Victor Osimhen, is also expected to play a key role in convincing him to make the move to Istanbul.
The 27-year-old had previously attempted to engineer a transfer to Inter Milan during the summer window, even submitting a transfer request and going absent without leave for several weeks after Atalanta turned down Inter’s offer.
Galatasaray are believed to be planning an initial loan proposal for Lookman, with the option of making the deal permanent later.
The former Leicester City attacker is currently valued at €40 million on Transfermarkt and still has two years remaining on his contract with the Bergamo-based club.
