Deniz Undav delivered a stunning hat-trick, capped by a dramatic stoppage-time strike, to rescue Stuttgart in a pulsating 3-3 draw at Borussia Dortmund.
The forward drilled in the equaliser from the edge of the area deep into added time, moments after substitute Karim Adeyemi looked to have secured all three points for Dortmund with his 89th-minute effort.
Despite looking shaky in spells, Dortmund built a comfortable two-goal lead before the interval. Emre Can opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 34th minute, and Maximilian Beier added a second seven minutes later, slotting past Alexander Nübel from close range.
Stuttgart came out sharper after the break, with Undav halving the deficit just two minutes into the second half.
Dortmund thought they had restored their cushion when Serhou Guirassy found the net, but his goal was chalked off for offside before the hosts rattled the crossbar.
Stuttgart then capitalised, as Undav pounced on a loose ball from a corner to bring the visitors level.
The match exploded into life late on. Adeyemi struck what seemed the winner on 89 minutes, only for Undav to complete his hat-trick and silence the home crowd with a last-gasp finish.
The result leaves Dortmund third on 22 points, trailing second-placed Bayer Leverkusen by one, while Bayern Munich sit top with 31.
