Super Eagles and Trabzonspor forward, Paul Onuachu, has earned a spot in the Turkish Super Lig Team of the Week.
The towering Nigerian striker continued his impressive form by netting the decisive second goal in Trabzonspor’s 2-1 away victory over İstanbul Başakşehir last weekend.
Onuachu has been in prolific form this season, scoring seven goals in nine league appearances for the Black Sea Storm.
His teammate, goalkeeper Erhan Erentürk, also made the cut for his outstanding performance between the posts.
The Team of the Week defensive lineup features Rick van Drongelen (Samsunspor), Ümit Akdağ (Alanyaspor), Tayfur Bingöl (Kocaelispor), and Guilherme (Konyaspor).
In midfield, İlkay Gündoğan (Galatasaray), Orkun Kökçü (Beşiktaş), and Marco Asensio (Fenerbahçe) were recognized for their dominant displays.
Rounding off the attacking trio, Onuachu is joined by Leroy Sané of Galatasaray and Rafa Silva of Beşiktaş in the star-studded lineup.
