2026: Hunger will reduce, Pastor Adeboye tells Nigerians

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has shared his prophetic vision for 2026, forecasting a year marked by triumphs, fresh opportunities, and a notable reduction in hunger.

He described the coming year as one that would outshine 2025 in impact, testimonies, and divine favour.

Delivering his prophecies during RCCG’s annual Crossover Service at the church’s vast three-kilometre by three-kilometre auditorium in Simawa, Ogun State, Pastor Adeboye outlined his insights across three major areas: individual believers, Nigeria, and the global community.

He emphasized that the “wind” of breakthroughs that began in 2024 would gain even greater momentum in 2026.

“2026 will be more remarkable than 2025,” he declared. “The wind that has been blowing since 2024 will continue to blow more strongly than before.” According to the cleric, the new year will usher in heightened opportunities, victories, and successes, while failures and setbacks will be fewer compared to the previous year. Many testimonies, he added, will be so striking that they will start with the words, “God remembered me at last.”

Turning his focus to Nigeria, Pastor Adeboye predicted a decline in hunger nationwide and expressed optimism for the growth of small and medium-scale enterprises.

He also foresaw what he called a “reversed Japa,” with many Nigerians who moved abroad seeking better prospects beginning to return home. “There will be a reduction in hunger, small and medium enterprises will blossom, and many people who left Nigeria will come back,” he said.

However, he revealed that part of his prophecy regarding Nigeria is being temporarily withheld, pending further divine confirmation.

“I am not sure I am allowed to share the second part yet. I will pray more about it, and if God gives permission, I will share it on Friday,” Pastor Adeboye explained.

On global matters, the RCCG leader predicted a lower likelihood of a major world war in 2026 compared to 2025.

He added that weather patterns would largely mirror the previous year, although the possibility of a few significant hurricanes remains.

The prophecies have sparked renewed hope among worshippers, who view 2026 as a year of restoration, divine favor, and abundant opportunities.
