Suffolk Police in England, the United Kingdom, have released a new image of three-year-old Noah as the search for the missing child enters another day.
Noah, who is non-verbal and has partial hearing loss, has been missing since Tuesday afternoon after becoming separated from a relative near a playground on Merriam Close in Brantham, on the border between Essex and Suffolk.
Police said the child was last seen at about 3pm after visiting the playground.
He was reportedly seen running down an alleyway beside the playground towards a new-build housing estate.
Superintendent Pete Partridge said, “We are very concerned for Noah’s welfare and need to find him as a matter of urgency.
“A vast number of resources have been deployed by ourselves, our emergency services colleagues and volunteers from SULSAR.
“These resources have been bolstered by members of the public who have turned out in large numbers to assist and we are incredibly grateful for their help and support.
“Given that fast-moving nature of the investigation, it is important that any public searches are coordinated with police to ensure we are working together, and that our resources are directed where they can be most effective.
“We therefore ask that people do not put themselves at risk or undertake independent searches overnight.
“We will continue to keep Noah’s family and the public updated on the progress of our searches and investigation.
“We know that people want to help and so we are urging local residents to carefully read our requests to check their gardens and outbuildings and review any CCTV or dashcam footage as a priority.
“Anyone who believes they have seen Noah is asked to contact us immediately.”
Noah is described as white, with curly ginger hair.
He was wearing a white Bluey T-shirt, shorts and black Vans trainers with a white stripe when he went missing.
Specially trained officers have been deployed in the search, alongside helicopters and drones.
The National Police Air Service, HM Coastguard, SULSAR and Suffolk Fire and Rescue are also supporting the operation.
Police are urging residents to check gardens, sheds, outbuildings and other places where a child could hide.
They have also asked people to review private CCTV, doorbell-camera and dashcam footage recorded from 3pm on Tuesday.
Police said Noah is currently undergoing an assessment for autism and will not respond to his name.
Anyone who believes they have seen him has been urged to call 999 immediately, quoting CAD 203 of 15 September.
