Man Utd players play freely under Carrick – Sesko

Manchester United forward, Benjamin Sesko, has revealed that the squad now enjoys greater freedom on the pitch under interim boss Michael Carrick.

Sesko shared his thoughts after netting the decisive goal in Manchester United’s 3-2 triumph over Fulham at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Speaking to Sky Sports, the striker emphasized Carrick’s focus on encouraging players to express themselves more freely, a shift that has coincided with a notable boost in both results and team spirit at Old Trafford.

“It’s true, he has said these things many times to the team. That’s exactly what we are doing,” Sesko stated.

“But it’s not just that, you can see how much we work hard for each other without the ball and that also contributes to good results in the end.

“The work rate is definitely different. Everyone is on point and covering their spaces. In the end, that’s what counts.”
