Atalanta manager, Ivan Juric, has revealed that Super Eagles winger, Ademola Lookman, is putting in tremendous effort to regain his top form for the club.
Lookman, who has yet to find the back of the net since rejoining the team, has managed just one assist in his last six outings.
Speaking to Bergamonews, Juric explained that the Super Eagles forward is gradually rediscovering his rhythm.
“Lookman was working hard to get into shape. Now, aware of his qualities, we’re pushing to get him playing immediately and at his best,” Juric said.
The Croatian coach further highlighted the forward’s resilience and the team’s continued support in helping him rediscover his scoring touch.
“He’s proven to be incredibly strong. I think the team created at least 30-40 situations for him where he’s usually devastating, but now he needs to get back into form.
The team provides him with the balls and the chances, but I’m confident that with this kind of play he’ll soon unlock his potential,” Juric added.
