Atalanta boss, Ivan Juric, has revealed that Super Eagles attacker, Ademola Lookman is still on the path to full fitness.
Lookman recently returned to action, featuring for La Dea in their 3-0 triumph over Torino last weekend, marking his first appearance of the season.
The Nigerian winger had explored the possibility of leaving Bergamo during the summer transfer window, but a move did not materialize.
Juric, however, remains optimistic about Lookman’s condition. “He’s training well, and slowly, we will try to get him back to full strength,” the coach told TMW.
This weekend, Atalanta will travel to Turin to face Juventus at the Allianz Stadium. Currently, La Dea sit fifth in Serie A, boasting eight points from four matches.
