Super Eagles forward, Ademola Lookman, has returned to full training with Atalanta after weeks on the sidelines.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the winger held a private meeting with head coach, Ivan Juric on Thursday morning before addressing his teammates.
He reportedly assured the squad of his renewed commitment and desire to contribute to the team’s campaign.
The 27-year-old was frozen out of the side last month following his push to force a move to Serie A rivals Inter Milan.
Juric, after Atalanta’s weekend victory over Lecce, made it clear he would not plead with Lookman to play, insisting only motivated players will feature for him.
With fences now seemingly mended, Lookman could be handed his first appearance of the season when La Dea take on Torino in Serie A on Sunday.
Atalanta will be keen to bounce back after their heavy 4-0 defeat to defending champions Paris Saint-Germain in their UEFA Champions League opener on Wednesday.
