Jaidon Anthony came close to putting the visitors ahead, first sending an effort narrowly wide before forcing a save from Hull goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis.
Hull also threatened on the counterattack, with Mohamed Belloumi breaking forward before sending a long-range effort over the crossbar.
The hosts had another opportunity to claim all three points in the 88th minute when substitute Mohamed Ali-Cho delivered a cross for Joe Gelhardt, but the forward failed to hit the target as both teams settled for a point.
