Ademola Lookman was named Man of the Match after another dazzling performance helped the Super Eagles demolish Mozambique 4-0 in Fès on Monday night.
The Atalanta winger starred with a goal and three assists, setting the tone for Nigeria’s emphatic win and securing their place in the quarter-finals.
Lookman opened the scoring in the 20th minute, following a brilliant assist from Akor Adams, before setting up Victor Osimhen for the second goal just five minutes later.
He continued his creative display after the break, assisting Osimhen again for Nigeria’s third goal and later teeing up Akor Adams for the fourth.
With three goals and five assists from three matches so far at AFCON 2025, Lookman has been central to the Super Eagles’ attacking firepower.
He had also won the Man of the Match award in Nigeria’s group-stage clash against Tunisia’s Carthage Eagles.
