UCL: Como humiliate Lens 9-1 in record win

Italian side Como made history in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday after recording a remarkable 9-1 away victory over French club Lens.

The Cesc Fabregas-led team delivered a dominant performance at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis, scoring nine goals to record one of the biggest victories in the competition and strengthen their push for direct qualification to the round of 16.

Greek striker Anastasios Douvikas stole the show with a hat-trick, scoring in the seventh, 32nd and 58th minutes.

Nico Paz, who was named Man of the Match, also found the net, while Lucas Da Cunha, Marc-Oliver Kempf, Mattia Liberali, Martin Baturina and debutant Papaccioli completed the rout.

Douvikas completed his hat-trick five minutes later, and Liberali made it seven in the 62nd minute.
