Trabzonspor defeated Gaziantep FK 2-0 in the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday, with Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah playing a part in the opening goal.
The hosts took the lead in the final minute of the first half through Stefan Savic, who converted after Salah delivered a corner kick that Ernest Muci flicked towards goal.
Trabzonspor doubled their advantage in the 61st minute when Muci found the net with a powerful effort from outside the penalty area.
The victory moved Trabzonspor to third position on the league table with 22 points from 10 matches, three points behind leaders Galatasaray.
Meanwhile, Gaziantep dropped to 15th place with eight points following the defeat.
Trabzonspor will next face Freiburg in the Conference League on November 5, while Gaziantep are scheduled to host Kasimpasa in the Turkish league the following day.
