Former Nollywood actor turned pastor, Jimmy Odukoya, has confirmed his marriage to fellow cleric, Pastor Mo Jasmine, during a church service.
Odukoya announced the marriage on Sunday while introducing his wife to the congregation during the service.
He invited her to the altar, where he formally presented her as the church’s new first lady.
The announcement came a day after the pastor hinted at his new relationship by sharing a photograph of himself and his fiancée holding hands, with both wearing wedding rings.
Speaking about how they found each other, Odukoya told the congregation that he had been searching for a suitable partner before meeting his wife.
“You know, the Bible said it is not good, it said I will find someone suitable. When Adam saw, he said this is the flesh of my flesh, bone of my bone, I was looking and searching, and I found. Some of you saw the post, some people said is it artwork, no it’s my wife; allow me to introduce to you for the first time, Pastor Mrs. Odukoya, a new first lady, my wife. Pastor Mo Odukoya,” he said.
The cleric’s marriage marks a fresh chapter in his personal life following the end of his previous marriage to Oluwakemi Sade Banjoko.
Odukoya and Banjoko got married in London in March 2013 and had two children together before their separation.
