Former Nigeria international, Ifeanyi Udeze, has expressed little surprise at Super Eagles forward, Ademola Lookman’s seamless adaptation to life at Atlético Madrid, following the winger’s January move from Atalanta.
Lookman has made a strong impression since arriving at the Spanish club in the winter transfer window, quickly establishing himself as an influential figure in the squad.
Reacting to the forward’s early impact, Udeze, in a chat with Brila FM, praised both the player and his new teammates for the smooth integration process.
“I am not surprised Ademola Lookman settled so quickly at Atletico Madrid after he joined the team in the January transfer window.
“Again, we have to give it to the Atletico Madrid players who accepted him and made him feel at home at the club.
“For me, I am generally happy with the performance of Lookman, and I wish him all the best.”
