JAMB opens UTME slip printing portal

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced that candidates registered for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, can now print their examination slips.

In a statement released on Thursday, the board urged all candidates to visit its official website to access and print their slips ahead of the examination date.

“Examination slip printing is now available. The slip contains essential details such as the venue, date, and time of the examination and serves as a pass into the examination hall,” JAMB said.

The board directed candidates to log on to its portal and click on the designated link for 2026 slip printing to complete the process.

JAMB also cautioned candidates against misinformation, particularly a viral message claiming that the examination had been postponed. The board described the notice as false and misleading.

“The purported press release suggesting a postponement of the UTME is malicious and should be disregarded.

Candidates are advised to rely only on official communication from the board,” it added.

The 2026 UTME is scheduled to take place between April 16 and April 25, 2026.

The examination follows the conduct of a mock test held on March 28, which experienced technical issues in some Computer-Based Test centres. According to JAMB, out of over 224,000 candidates who registered for the mock exam, more than 152,000 successfully sat for the test across hundreds of centres nationwide.

The board noted that over 20 centres were subsequently delisted due to technical shortcomings observed during the exercise.

JAMB further warned candidates to avoid engaging with fraudsters, particularly those operating on social media platforms and promising score manipulation.

“Any candidate found attempting to compromise the examination process through fraudulent means risks severe sanctions, including cancellation of registration or withholding of results,” the board warned.
