JAMB releases 2026 UTME mock results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of results for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination mock test conducted on March 28.

In a statement issued on Tuesday by its spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, the board said candidates can check their mock results by sending “MOCKRESULT” via SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number used during registration.

According to the board, a total of 224,597 candidates registered for the mock exercise, while 152,586 successfully participated in the test held across 989 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide.

JAMB disclosed that some centres experienced technical issues, leading to their removal from the list of approved centres.

“Over 20 CBT centres that experienced technical challenges have been delisted due to technical inadequacies,” the statement said.

The board also raised concerns about fraudulent activities targeting candidates, particularly on social media platforms.

“Candidates are strongly advised to beware of fraudulent individuals or groups, especially on WhatsApp, claiming to facilitate score inflation. Such claims are false and criminal,” Benjamin warned.

He added that any candidate found engaging in such malpractice risks having their registration cancelled, while results could be withheld or withdrawn if infractions are discovered after the examination.
JAMB further reminded candidates that the main UTME is scheduled to begin on April 16, 2026.

The board had earlier acknowledged that technical glitches, including server failures and power outages, affected the mock examination in some centres, causing delays and leaving several candidates stranded for hours.
