Iranian media outlets on Sunday reported that three close relatives of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei were killed in recent military strikes attributed to the United States and Israel.
According to the semi-official Fars News Agency, the casualties include Khamenei’s daughter, her husband, and their young daughter.
“After establishing contact with informed sources in the Supreme Leader’s household, the news of the martyrdom of the daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter of the Revolutionary Leader has unfortunately been confirmed,” the agency stated.
Other Iranian news platforms carried similar reports, describing the deaths as the result of joint US-Israeli attacks.
However, no independent verification has yet been provided, and there has been no immediate official statement from Iran’s top leadership detailing the circumstances of the strike.
The reported deaths come amid escalating hostilities in the region, following large-scale air operations and retaliatory missile exchanges between Iran and its adversaries.
Israeli authorities earlier announced what they described as a “pre-emptive strike” targeting Iranian assets, while US officials have maintained a firm stance against Tehran in recent days.
Neither Washington nor Tel Aviv has publicly commented on the reported deaths of Khamenei’s family members.
