Super Eagles star, Ademola Lookman, has earned a place in the Serie A Team of the Week following his standout display for Atalanta.
The Nigerian forward found the back of the net in Atalanta’s 1–1 draw against AC Milan on Tuesday night, his first goal of the season for the Bergamo outfit.
Lookman was a constant threat throughout the encounter, completing three successful dribbles, delivering three key passes, and maintaining an impressive 84 percent passing accuracy.
His stellar performance made him the only Atalanta player named in this week’s selection.
Other forwards who made the cut include Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic and Cremonese’s Federico Bonazzoli.
Napoli’s Vanja Milinkovic-Savic was selected as goalkeeper, while the defensive lineup features Mergim Vojvoda (Como), Federico Gatti (Juventus), and Mario Hermoso (AS Roma).
The midfield quartet comprises Nicolo Zaniolo (Udinese), Zambo Anguissa (Napoli), Hakan Calhanoglu (Inter Milan), and Samuele Ricci (Torino).
