Napoli clinched the Serie A title on Friday night with a 2-0 victory over Cagliari, sealing their fourth Scudetto and second in three seasons.

Antonio Conte’s side held off fierce competition from Inter Milan, edging them by a single point in a nail-biting conclusion to the season.

The crucial goals came from Scott McTominay and Romelu Lukaku, whose efforts ensured the hosts grabbed the win they needed to finish on top.

This triumph marks a historic milestone for Conte, as he becomes the first manager to win Serie A with three different clubs, having previously lifted the trophy with Juventus and Inter Milan.

Speaking after the match, Conte described the achievement as “the most unexpected, the most difficult, and the most stimulating in terms of the challenge.”

Despite also winning 2-0 on the final day, defeating a 10-man Como, defending champions Inter fell just short, finishing behind Napoli in the standings.
