Jamaica clinched a thrilling 3-2 victory over Trinidad and Tobago in stoppage time to book their place in the Unity Cup 2025 final, following a pulsating semi-final clash at the Gtech Stadium in London on Tuesday.

The Reggae Boys appeared to be cruising after taking a 2-0 lead but were forced to dig deep after a spirited comeback from their Caribbean rivals.

Despite the setback, they sealed the win with a dramatic late penalty.

Jamaica drew first blood in the 25th minute, with Kasey Palmer confidently converting from the spot.

Their lead was doubled in the 53rd minute through Rumarn Burrell, but Trinidad and Tobago immediately responded, just one minute later, when Isaiah Leacock pulled a goal back to spark hopes of a comeback.

Momentum swung in Trinidad and Tobago’s favour, and their persistence paid off in the 69th minute as Kevin Molino netted the equalizer, completing the turnaround.

However, in the dying moments of added time, Jamaica were handed another lifeline via the penalty spot.

Richard King stepped up and slotted home in the 94th minute, sealing a dramatic 3-2 win for the Reggae Boys.

The tournament’s second semi-final is scheduled for Wednesday, featuring the Super Eagles of Nigeria against the Black Stars of Ghana.

The winner will face Jamaica in what promises to be an electrifying final.
