Ex-Al-Nassr coach Luis Castro dismisses Ronaldo exit rumours

Former Al-Nassr manager, Luis Castro, has clarified speculation surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo’s cryptic social media message, insisting the Portuguese star has not signaled any intention to leave the Saudi Pro League side.

Ronaldo had stirred controversy after Al-Nassr’s 3-2 loss to Al-Fateh in their final match of the season, sharing a post that many interpreted as a farewell.

However, Castro explained that the message was in reference to the end of the campaign, not Ronaldo’s future with the club.

Addressing the media, Castro emphasized that Ronaldo’s post was misinterpreted by many.

Speaking to The Nassr Zone, he said, “Every season that ends is like a cycle that closes. That is how I see it.

“I don’t see it or interpret it the way many do. A chapter has closed, a football season has ended. We are going to start a new one.”

Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr following the termination of his contract with Manchester United and has since been a central figure at the club.

Castro maintained that the forward has not communicated any desire to depart.
