Juventus have confirmed the appointment of former Napoli boss, Luciano Spalletti, as their new head coach, with the experienced tactician set to take charge of the Turin club beginning this weekend.
The announcement comes just days after Igor Tudor’s departure on Monday, following a poor run of form that saw the Bianconeri go winless in their last eight matches under the Croatian.
In an official statement, the club said, “We are delighted to welcome a coach with such expertise and experience to the Bianconeri family: welcome to Juventus and good luck, coach!”
Spalletti’s arrival marks Juventus’s third managerial change in 2025, highlighting the instability that has plagued the club in recent months.
The 65-year-old will be expected to assert his authority quickly and implement his tactical vision effectively to restore the team’s confidence.
Currently sitting seventh in Serie A after a 3–1 victory over Udinese in midweek, Juventus will face Jamie Vardy’s Cremonese in Spalletti’s first game at the helm on Saturday.
