Snoop Dogg and his family are grieving the loss of his 10-month-old granddaughter, Codi.
The heartbreaking news was shared by the rapper’s daughter, Cori Broadus, on Saturday.
Cori posted a black-and-white photo on Instagram, showing her smiling while holding Codi. She wrote that the infa, rhe “love of her life”—passed away on Monday, adding an angel wing emoji to the post.
Born three months premature in February 2025, Codi spent the majority of her short life in the neonatal intensive care unit.
Only three weeks ago, Cori shared a tender moment with her daughter on Instagram, posting a photo of them resting together and telling followers, “God heard all [your] prayers.”
Codi’s father, Wayne Deuce, also paid tribute on social media, sharing his heartbreak and writing that he will always be with his daughter.
Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Broadus Jr., is a father of four and, as of early 2026, has around 12 grandchildren.
The family has endured similar tragedies before, including the loss of Snoop’s grandson, Kai, who also died in infancy.
