The Oyo State Police Command has arrested a suspected robber and recovered a stolen motorcycle following a late-night robbery incident in Olorunda Aba area of the state.
The arrest occurred on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025, after operatives of the Olorunda Aba Police Division responded to a distress call from Adanla Area, Eniosa, at about 10:30 p.m.
According to the police, two armed men, riding an unregistered motorcycle and wielding machetes, attacked two residents identified as Mutiu Adeyemo and Akinpelu Ojo while they were returning home. The suspects reportedly dispossessed the victims of their TVS motorcycle.

The arrested suspect was later identified as Sunday Onah.
Confirming the development, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Ayanlade Olayinka, said preliminary investigation showed that the suspect confessed to the crime and admitted involvement in similar robbery incidents in the past.
