The Oyo State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of three men suspected of being involved in a kidnapping incident in the Ido Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The suspects—Musa Ajibola (29), Hassan Mohammadu (63), and Umaru Hassan (19)—were apprehended on April 21 at Latayo Farm Settlement in Ile-Ido following intelligence gathered from members of the public.
Police spokesperson, Olayinka Ayanlade, said the arrest followed coordinated action ordered by the Commissioner of Police after credible information was received about the suspects’ whereabouts.
He explained that the suspects were linked to the abduction of Marian Remi, a resident of Lafayo Farm Settlement in the Ido Local Government Area, Oyo State, Nigeria, who was later released after the incident.
