Oliseh slams Arsenal after Man City draw

Former Super Eagles skipper, Sunday Oliseh, has voiced his frustration after Arsenal failed to capitalise against Manchester City in Sunday’s Premier League clash.

The game at the Emirates ended 1-1, with Erling Haaland putting City ahead as early as the ninth minute before Gabriel Jesus struck deep into stoppage time to rescue a point for the Gunners.

Sharing his reaction on his official X account, Oliseh criticised Arsenal for not making the most of their chances against what he described as one of City’s weakest outings.

“I am shocked Arsenal did not beat Man. City today! This is, I believe, one of the weakest performances put up by Man. City,” Oliseh wrote.

He further noted that the introductions of Eberechi Eze and Bukayo Saka improved Arsenal’s control of the match but lamented their lack of precision in attack.

“Sadly, two points lost in my opinion, but then, it could have been worse!” he added.

The draw leaves Arsenal sitting second, five points behind leaders Liverpool, while City remain down in ninth, trailing the top by eight points.
