Founder of Potters City Church in Ghana, Prophet Nanasei Opoku-Sarkodie, has revealed that Nigerian gospel minister Nathaniel Bassey personally reached out to him with a strong conviction to host the Hallelujah Challenge at the church.
According to information shared by Gospel Hypers on social media, Opoku-Sarkodie said Bassey was convinced that the worship gathering should be held at Potters City despite suggestions that a larger venue could accommodate the expected crowd.
“Though there were thoughts of taking it to a stadium, Pastor Nath reportedly insisted on following the exact leading he received from God,” the report stated.
The revelation has drawn attention among worshippers and followers of the Hallelujah Challenge, a global praise and worship movement founded by Bassey in 2017 that attracts participants from different countries through both physical and online gatherings.
Bassey has consistently emphasised the importance of divine direction in his ministry, and the decision to host the Hallelujah Challenge at Potters City appears to reflect that conviction.
