Lateef Adedimeji, wife disown viral AI-generated baby photos

Popular Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji and his wife, actress Adebimpe Oyebade, have appealed to fans and bloggers to stop circulating Artificial Intelligence-generated baby photos falsely linked to their newborn triplets.

The couple made the clarification on Friday following the widespread circulation of edited baby images online after they announced the birth of their three sons.

In a post shared on her Instagram story, Oyebade, popularly known as Mo Bimpe, appreciated fans for the outpouring of love but stressed that the viral photos were not authentic.

“Dear bloggers, fans and lovers, thank you so much for the love for us and the ETAs, but please enough with the AI pictures now.

“We’ll share @etawithlove pictures soon. All the baby pictures flying around aren’t our babies please,” she wrote.

Adedimeji also addressed the issue in a separate message posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, where he thanked supporters for their prayers and goodwill.

“To my X/Twitter family, I truly appreciate all the love and prayers. I’ll be back soon.

“Also, please note that the AI-generated baby photos circulating right now are not ours. Thank you for understanding,” the actor stated.

The clarification came days after the actor emotionally announced the arrival of their triplet sons on Instagram.

“I’ve been quiet… not absent. I was building, protecting, and embracing the greatest blessing of my life. God gave me more than I prayed for — a woman who became a mother of three, and three kings to call my own,” he had written.
