The senator representing Kogi Central under the Peoples Democratic Party, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has officially announced her bid for a second term in office, following what she described as extensive consultations and continued encouragement from constituents and her family.

She made this known during a PDP stakeholders’ meeting in Kogi Central, where party leaders and supporters convened to discuss the party’s direction in the district.

According to a statement released by her media team in Abuja on Monday, the lawmaker said her decision was influenced by months of appeals and endorsements from across the five local government areas within the senatorial district.

“After due consultations and encouragement from my husband, I have accepted your calls to re-contest for a second term as your senator,” she said.
