Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has advised women to prioritize wearing good, supportive bras, stressing that such undergarments are important for personal composure in public.
Henshaw made the remark on her X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday, in response to viral videos of Ms. Comfort Emmanson, a passenger who physically assaulted an Ibom Air staff member during a Uyo–Lagos flight on Sunday, August 10, 2025.
The incident, which escalated into a violent confrontation, left Emmanson’s top disheveled, exposing her chest in front of other passengers and crew members.
The confrontation has since sparked public debate about unruly passenger behaviour and professionalism in air travel.
Reacting to the clip, Henshaw wrote, “I always advocate for ladies to wear good, supportive bras. It is very important. You never know when a situation like this might occur! This was not good at all… I no even see this video.”
Her post comes as the Airline Operators of Nigeria announced a lifetime ban on Emmanson, condemning her violent conduct and pledging to protect airline staff from physical assault. Ibom Air has also stated it would pursue legal action over the incident.
