Gabriel backs new Arsenal signings Madueke, Kepa to boost title charge

Arsenal defender, Gabriel, has expressed his confidence in the club’s new summer recruits, saying they will significantly boost the team’s strength ahead of the new season.

The Gunners have kicked off their transfer window activities by bringing in four players, Noni Madueke, Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard, and Kepa Arrizabalaga, in a bid to bolster the squad depth.

Despite these signings, Arsenal continue to be linked with other high-profile names including Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres and Crystal Palace playmaker Eberechi Eze.

Gabriel, speaking about the club’s transfer moves, commended Arsenal’s efforts to reinforce the squad.

“I think the players that came will help us out a lot,” Gabriel was quoted on Arsenal News Channel. “The club is doing what is best for the players and the manager. They are definitely doing their best to bring the best players that can help us, but we have to focus on what we can do out on the pitch.

“The players that are here are doing that. We are strong and we are getting stronger with these new players. Definitely, it excites me. We want to have the best players. To be in the dispute for titles, you have to have the best players.”

With Arsenal narrowly missing out on the Premier League title last season, the addition of new talents is seen as a critical step towards ending their long wait for silverware.

Gabriel’s optimism echoes the ambition at the Emirates as the club looks to mount a serious challenge across all competitions in the coming campaign.
