Fulham manager, Marco Silva, has urged Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwueze, to push harder for a place in the club’s starting lineup.
Chukwueze, who arrived at Craven Cottage on a season-long loan in the summer, has so far featured five times as a substitute for the West London side.
The 26-year-old impressed last weekend when he delivered a superb assist for Raúl Jiménez’s late winner in Fulham’s 1-0 victory over Sunderland.
The assist was his second for the Cottagers in the Premier League.
His impactful cameo saw him voted Fulham’s Royal Caribbean Legend of the Match, beating teammates Raúl Jiménez and Harry Wilson to the honour.
Silva applauded the Nigerian winger’s contribution since joining the club, saying, “He (Chukwueze) had a huge impact. It was a great assist from him, and we’re pleased for him. Now we need him to start games and keep the intensity throughout the 90 minutes,” the Portuguese coach told Fulham’s official website.
