The draw, conducted on Tuesday, October 7, at the Patrick Baumann House of Basketball in Mies, Switzerland, marks the decisive stage for teams vying for a spot at the global showpiece.

Scheduled for March 11–17, 2026, the qualifiers will take place across four host cities, Wuhan (China), Lyon-Villeurbanne (France), San Juan (Puerto Rico), and Istanbul (Turkey).

Six teams will compete in each city, with only the best advancing to the World Cup in Berlin, Germany, where 16 nations will battle for the crown.
