D’Tigress head coach, Rena Wakama, has unveiled the final squad for the 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup Qualifying Tournament.
Wakama selected 12 players from an initial provisional list of 17 released last month as Nigeria prepares for the crucial competition.
The final roster includes Ezinne Kalu, Promise Amukamara, Amy Okonkwo, Elizabeth Balogun, Blessing Ejiofor, Nicole Enabosi and Ifunnaya Okoro.
Also making the squad are Pallas Kunayi-Akpannah, Victoria Macaulay, Sarah Ogoke, Murjanatu Musa and Rita Igbokwe.
Nigeria will compete against France, the Philippines, Colombia, Germany and South Korea in the qualifying tournament.
D’Tigress will begin their campaign against Colombia on March 11.
The competition will take place in Villeurbanne, France, and is scheduled to run from March 11 to March 17.
