The All Progressives Congress has launched efforts to strengthen its presence in Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi State with the construction of a Mini APC Secretariat in Inorere, Ogaminana Central Ward.
At the ceremony marking the commencement of the project, Hon. Ismaila Isah, Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, stated that the secretariat would serve as a modern and accessible center for APC members in the ward.
He noted that the initiative is part of the party’s broader strategy to improve mobilisation, enhance party administration, and foster political engagement within the local community.
Isah emphasized that the project aligns with Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s vision of decentralising governance and increasing political participation at the grassroots level. He assured attendees that the secretariat would be completed within a short timeframe.
Hon. Oyibo Barnabas, the APC Chairman in Adavi Local Government, also praised the mini secretariat, calling it a critical move to strengthen the party’s structure in the area.
Councilor Suberu Ahuoiza Khadijat, who represents Ogaminana Central Ward, expressed her excitement over the project, highlighting its potential to unify party members and stimulate political activities within the ward.
