Nollywood actress, Doris Ogala, has revealed plans to drag the founder and senior pastor of Grace Nation International Church also known as Liberation City, Pastor Chris Okafor to court, accusing him of breaking a promise to marry her and going on to wed another woman.
Ogala made the allegation during a recent live session with media personality Daddy Freeze, where she opened up about her past relationship with the pastor and the events that led to their fallout.
According to her, the clergyman’s alleged assurance of marriage influenced key decisions she made at the time and now forms the basis of her intended legal action.
“This is not about emotions anymore; it’s about promises made and promises broken,” Ogala said during the live discussion. “He told me he would marry me, and I believed him.”
During the conversation, Daddy Freeze questioned Ogala about her conduct while she was still married to her former husband. The actress admitted that she engaged in phone-based intimacy with Pastor Okafor during that period, though she insisted it never became physical.
“Was I chatting intimately with him while I was married? Yes, I did,” she admitted. “I’m not proud of it, but I want to be honest. There was no physical relationship then.”
Ogala also claimed she has evidence to support her allegations, including chat messages and screen recordings. She said one of the videos allegedly shows the date and the phone number of the recipient.
“I have chats, screen recordings, and even a video that clearly shows the date and who I was talking to,” she stated. “I didn’t imagine any of this.”
Daddy Freeze, however, warned her against releasing such materials publicly, noting that it could expose her to legal trouble over privacy violations.
“If you put those things out there, you could be sued,” Daddy Freeze cautioned during the live session.
Unfazed, Ogala maintained that she was prepared to face any consequences, revealing that her lawyer had already been briefed on the matter.
“My lawyer is aware of everything,” she said. “Let’s go to court. I’m ready to present my evidence and let the law decide.”
She further alleged that Pastor Okafor’s decision to marry another woman, despite what she described as repeated assurances to her, amounted to a betrayal she intends to challenge legally.
As of the time of this report, Pastor Chris Okafor has not made any public statement in response to the allegations.
