Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday fired Christophe Galtier from his role as head coach after a season in charge of the Ligue 1 champion.
This was disclosed by the sporting director Luis Campos.
Galtier, despite delivering the 2022-23 Ligue 1 title, has faced several criticism following the team’s round of 16 Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich.
He has also been criticized for failing to bring the best out of players like Lionel Messi and Neymar.
According speculations, former Bayern Munich boss Nagelsmann is the frontrunner to replace Galtier.
